Lines

Lines in a garment perform the lifestyle of a person. For my look, I used a variety of different lines- drappy, loose, tight, and a number of bold patterns. For instance, the very baggy and drappy lines convey a more relaxed, but sexual lifestyle. It shows that the person is free lifestyle and also happy with their body by showing it off. I also used very structured lines around the waist by pulling the lines of the garment together. This portrays that even though a person is loose and free, they also have structure and control within themselves. The patterns I chose for the lines are also very free and structured. The uneven, crazy patterns show a free lifestyle while the horizontal and vertical show a more structured and controlled one.
